The NEC InfinityBoard 84-inch is an all-in-one collaboration board that places a large UHD touch display, a built-in slot PC, a conference camera and external speakers into a single installation. Panel, touch and writing performance

The 84-inch panel has a native resolution of 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz across an active area of 1,860 x 1,046 mm. The glass is 3 mm toughened, anti-glare and passes at least 88 percent of light. OPS Slot-In PC, software and connectivity

The built-in computer sits in an OPS slot that follows the open pluggable specification shared by NEC and Intel. That matters for upgrades: the computer can be replaced with a newer OPS module instead of replacing the whole board. The included module carries an Intel Core i7 vPro processor, 8 GB of DDR4 memory, a 128 GB SSD and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise. Mosaic Hub, the collaboration software, comes with one year of free subscription. The display provides one DisplayPort, two DVI-D and four HDMI inputs, all with HDCP, plus a 3.5 mm analogue audio input and control over 100 Mbit LAN and RS-232. The PC module adds a mini DisplayPort output along with USB 3.0 ports.

Camera, speakers and installation planning

The package includes a Huddly conference camera with a 16-megapixel sensor, 720p output at 30 fps and 3x digital zoom with digital pan, tilt and zoom. It works plug and play without a separate driver. Two external 40 W speakers handle the audio. The board measures 2,179 x 1,151 x 90 mm and weighs 97 kg, so the wall must be checked before fixing.
