Touchscreen T5 Business 55

What this 55-inch display is

The OneScreen Touchscreen T5 Business 55 is an interactive flat panel for rooms where people present, annotate and share content directly on the screen. It uses a 4K UHD panel at 3840 by 2160 pixels, built on an Original LG IPS LED screen, with a 60 Hz refresh rate and a 178 degree viewing angle. The manufacturer has discontinued this model. This page is written for organisations that already run one, buyers comparing it with newer panels, and anyone who needs a replacement for a 55-inch room display.

Image and touch performance

The panel supports a high colour gamut with 1.07B colours at 10-bit depth and carries a brightness rating of 400 cd/m². Its 0.315 mm pixel pitch is the finest of the T5 Business sizes, which helps when a teacher shows small text or an engineer displays detailed drawings on a 55-inch surface. Touch is 20-point infrared and works with a finger or the supplied stylus, rated at 2 mm accuracy with a response time under 8 ms. The anti-glare glass has an 8 MOHS surface rating, and two 15 W speakers with Dolby stereo handle audio for a small room.

Connections, Android and PC switching

• Three HDMI inputs, plus VGA, DisplayPort, audio, microphone, YPBPR and AV inputs
• Outputs for HDMI, SPDIF, AV and earphones
• Five multimedia USB ports that switch between the Android system and an OPS PC during use
• Dual-band Wi-Fi on 5G and 2.4GHz, Bluetooth 4.0, two RJ-45 ports and RS232

The Android 6 system runs on a quad-core 1.5GHz processor with 2GB RAM and 64GB storage. Bundled software includes OneScreen Write, eShare, Hype and Swap, where Hype and Swap each carry a one-year subscription with 50 licences. Annotate and Navigate are perpetual licences that require a PC. Android 6 is an older operating system, so ask our team which apps your organisation needs before you commit.

Where it fits in Qatar

A 55-inch panel suits a small classroom, a huddle room in a government office in Msheireb, or a meeting room in a Lusail company where a small team reviews documents and joins calls with colleagues abroad. In an Education City lab or training centre, the USB switching between Android and an OPS PC lets instructors move between teaching applications during one session.

Planning the installation

The wall mount kit is a VESA 400 by 400 flush mount and is provided with the panel. Measure the wall and confirm the fixing method before ordering. The panel measures 50.6 by 31.5 by 3.6 inches and weighs 99 lbs, so a free site survey from SmartRooms Qatar is worth booking. The power input range is 100-240V, 50/60 Hz, which covers Qatar's 240 V, 50 Hz mains. The manufacturer data does not list an operating temperature range, so confirm the room conditions with our team before placing the panel near windows or in a lobby exposed to heat and dust.
