Touchscreen T5 Business 86

What the 86-inch T5 Business offers a Qatari meeting room

The OneScreen Touchscreen T5 Business 86 is a large interactive display built on a 3840 x 2160 4K UHD panel with an original LG IPS LED screen. It pairs that surface with a built-in Android 6 computer, so presenters can annotate, share and open apps without bringing a separate laptop into every session. OneScreen has discontinued this model. This page is written for organisations that already own it, for buyers comparing it with newer displays, and for anyone who needs a dependable replacement.

Panel and touch performance that matters in a boardroom

The panel is rated at 400 cd/m2 brightness with a 178 degree viewing angle, so people seated at the ends of a long table can still read the content. The 20-point infrared touch accepts fingers or the supplied stylus, with 2mm accuracy and a response time below 8ms, which keeps handwriting smooth when several people annotate at once. The anti-glare glass has an 8 MOHS surface rating, a practical detail for rooms with strong daylight and heavy daily use. Colour is high gamut with 10-bit support at 1.07B colours.

Software and the built-in Android system

The display runs Android 6 with 2GB RAM, 64GB storage and a quad-core A53 Cortex processor at 1.5GHz. Users can open common Android apps such as Chrome, YouTube and Office apps, and multi-user login is supported for shared devices. OneScreen Write, eShare, Hype and Swap come with the unit, where Hype and Swap carry a 1-year subscription with 50 licenses each. Annotate and Navigate are perpetual licences but need a PC to run. Remote management can push firmware updates, send emergency alerts and control the screen from a central point.

Connecting sources, PCs and room systems

• Three HDMI inputs, one VGA, one DisplayPort, audio, microphone, YPBPR and AV inputs
• HDMI, SPDIF, AV and earphone outputs for external audio and feeds
• Five multimedia USB ports in dual mode that switch between Android and an OPS PC during use
• Two RJ-45 network ports, RS232, a camera USB port and Bluetooth 4.0
• Dual Wi-Fi covering 5GHz and 2.4GHz with three antennas

The power input is rated 100-240V at 50/60 Hz, which covers Qatar's 240 V, 50 Hz mains supply. Confirm your cable routing and the PC or video source before purchase, because the touch function uses its own USB and video connections.

Planning a flush wall mount for an 86-inch panel

The product measures 77.6 x 42.1 x 4.1 inches and weighs 209 lbs, while the shipping carton is 86.3 x 58.3 x 14.2 inches and 284 lbs. The kit includes a flush wall mount for a 600 x 400 VESA pattern, one remote control, and HDMI, touch USB, VGA, AUX and power cables with two styluses and an extendable wand. Because of the weight, a free site survey is recommended to check wall structure, power points and the route for lifting the panel into position.

The source data does not give an operating temperature range. For lobbies, window-facing rooms or spaces that are not fully air-conditioned, ask the SmartRooms Qatar team to confirm the environment before installation, since summer temperatures above 45 C are common.

Where this model fits in Qatar

• A lecture hall in Education City where a large display must be readable from the back row.
• A ministry boardroom in West Bay that runs regular video calls with teams abroad.
• A private school in Al Wakrah equipping a large classroom for group work and shared whiteboarding.
