Touchscreen T6 Business 86

An 86-inch touch display for rooms where several people work at once

The OneScreen Touchscreen T6 Business 86 is a large interactive display built around a 4K LG panel with a 3840 x 2160 resolution at 60 Hz. Its 0.4935 mm pixel pitch and brightness of 400+ cd/m2 give clear detail in a wide room, such as a boardroom with the screen on one long wall. The front is 8 MOHS anti-glare glass, which helps when ceiling lights or windows would otherwise wash out the image.

Touch is handled by an infrared frame with 20 touch points and 3mm touch accuracy. Palm detection and pen-and-touch differentiation let a presenter rest a hand on the glass while annotating with a pen, which matters on a screen this size where people stand at different points along the wall.

Connectivity, software and the optional PC

The inputs include three HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort input, VGA, two touch USB connections and an RJ-45 port. Connectivity adds RS232 for control, USB ports at the front and rear, and dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4G/5G) with a 5G hotspot mode.

The built-in Android 8.0 system gives access to Android apps and the Google Play Store with multi-user login. The manufacturer lists OneScreen Annotate and Write for annotation, OneScreen Navigate for a customisable home screen, EShare for screen sharing, OneScreen Central for centralised control and emergency notification, and OneScreen Hype for video conferencing. An optional OPS PC with an Intel Core i5 (7th Gen) or i7 (9th Gen), 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD supports Linux and several Windows versions when a room needs desktop software.

Where this model fits in Qatar

In a boardroom in a West Bay office tower, the 86-inch size lets an executive team display a full financial model or a shared project plan, mark it up directly, and connect with colleagues in other countries through OneScreen Hype with an optional camera.

In a university lecture hall in Education City, the display becomes the main teaching surface. A lecturer can annotate slides, and students in the back rows can read 4K content on a large panel. The two built-in 15W speakers suit a mid-sized room, but a large lecture theatre may need separate sound reinforcement, which a site survey will identify.

In a government ministry meeting room in Msheireb, where teams work in Arabic and English side by side, a presenter can mark up a bilingual document on the glass while a laptop connected over HDMI supplies the main content.

What to plan before ordering

• Wall: VESA 750 x 400 mounting pattern. The panel measures 76.9 x 46.2 x 3.9 inches and weighs 150 lbs, so confirm wall structure before installation.
• Power: AC 100-240 V at 50/60 Hz, rated at up to 450 W, with standby at 0.5 W or less. This range covers Qatar mains at 240 V and 50 Hz.
• Environment: the source data does not give an operating temperature range, so confirm room conditions, including sun through windows and summer heat, with the SmartRooms Qatar team before ordering.
• In the box: one remote control, HDMI cable, USB touch cable, power cable, two pens and an extendable pen.
• Warranty: the manufacturer lists an advanced hardware replacement option, available only at the time of purchase.

A free site survey before wall mounting is recommended for a panel of this size and weight.

Discontinued model: request a quote for a current replacement

The manufacturer has discontinued the OneScreen Touchscreen T6 Business 86. Organisations that need a like-for-like replacement, and buyers comparing current options, can ask SmartRooms Qatar to quote a current equivalent or a compatible replacement. Quotations are usually issued within one working day. We accept purchase orders (LPOs), government tenders including Monaqasat, and payment by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order.
