The Peerless-AV SR598-HUB2 is a floor cart built for one purpose: carrying an 85-inch Microsoft Surface Hub 2S or Surface Hub 3 between rooms. Two aluminium columns rise from a pre-assembled base, and the frame is finished in textured black powder coat that helps hide fingerprints and dust. The result is a sturdy, tidy stand that suits a boardroom or lecture room, rather than a generic trolley adapted for the job.

The cart carries up to 136.08 kg and weighs about 40.37 kg on its own. It measures 173.69 cm (68.38 inches) high, 116.87 cm (46.01 inches) wide and 73.66 cm (29 inches) deep, so it needs a clear floor footprint and a doorway wide and deep enough to take it. The display height is adjustable along the columns, and 5 degrees of negative adjustment helps keep a heavy display level once it is fitted.

Four 4-inch (10.16 cm) swivel casters handle movement, and two of them lock once the cart is in position. Spacers and screws sized for the Surface Hub 2S keep the compute module clear of the frame. Integrated cable management protects and conceals cabling, which keeps a teaching or meeting space looking clean. Four plastic base pads are supplied for installations where the casters are not needed.
