One unit for the whole hybrid meeting

The Barco ClickShare X-Display Plus 65 combines a 65-inch LCD, a camera, a microphone array, speakers and wireless sharing in one unit. Instead of mounting a separate screen, camera and sound bar, a meeting room gets a single wall-mounted device that handles both the display and the call. It is designed for bring-your-own-meeting use, so any participant can share from a personal laptop inside the same meeting.

The panel is a 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) LCD with a 4000:1 contrast ratio, 400 cd/m² typical brightness, 94% P3 typical colour gamut and a 60Hz refresh rate. It uses D-LED backlighting and an anti-glare surface, which helps in glazed rooms where daylight reaches the screen.

Camera, microphones and AI framing

The camera uses a 50-megapixel Sony sensor and records 4K, 1080p and 720p at 30fps across a 99° field of view. It offers 5x digital zoom, wide dynamic range, distortion correction and a manual slide cover for privacy when the camera is not needed.

Sixteen beamforming MEMS microphones pick up voices up to 12 metres away across a 180° pickup angle. Echo cancellation, noise suppression against more than 300 noise types, automatic gain control and dereverberation keep remote participants clear. Group framing, a composition mode for up to eight people, speaker framing and intelligent tracking with a panoramic view adjust the picture as people move, while the AI soundscreen offers 30°, 60°, 90° and 180° settings across four levels.

Planning the installation

At 1465.1 mm wide, 77.7 mm deep and 912 mm high, with a net weight of 30.19 kg (35.185 kg gross), the unit needs a solid wall or a suitable mounting point. A wall-mounted bracket is included and a floor stand is optional. Plan the room environment as well. The rated operating range is 0°C to 40°C with 10 to 90% relative humidity, so the unit should sit in an air-conditioned indoor room. Maximum operating power is below 180 W and standby is below 0.5 W. The mains input covers 100 to 240 V at 50/60 Hz, but the supplied power cord is listed as a China cord, 3 metres long, so confirm the plug with the SmartRooms Qatar team before connecting to BS 1363 sockets. Connections include two HDMI 2.0 inputs, one HDMI output, two USB-C ports, two USB-A 3.0 ports, two 1Gbps Ethernet ports, an RS232 port and an SPDIF audio output.
