Yealink MVC340 (Discontinued) · Replacements in Qatar

Name: Yealink MVC340 Microsoft Teams Rooms Bundle for Small Rooms
Brand: Yealink
SKU: yealink-mvc340
Availability: Discontinued

Overview

The Yealink MVC340 is a Microsoft Teams Rooms bundle for focus rooms and small meeting rooms, combining the UVC34 video bar, MCore Pro mini-PC and MTouch E2 control tablet. The video bar offers an 8 MP camera with 5x e-PTZ, a 120° field of view and Auto Framing. Yealink has discontinued this model, so SmartRooms Qatar can quote the recommended MVC S40 or another current equivalent for offices and schools across Qatar.

What the Yealink MVC340 bundle includes

The Yealink MVC340 is a Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows bundle built for focus rooms and small meeting rooms. It brings together three parts: the UVC34 USB video bar, the MCore Pro mini-PC and the MTouch E2 control tablet. Because the video bar, computer and controller arrive as one package, the setup is more predictable than assembling separate components, which matters when a facilities team is equipping several rooms at once.

Yealink has discontinued this model, and its end-of-sale date is 2025-12-31. This page is for organisations that already run the MVC340, for buyers comparing it with newer systems, and for anyone looking for a replacement. Yealink recommends the MVC S40, which it describes as designed for small meeting rooms and part of its 4th-gen MVC Series.

Camera, audio and framing in the UVC34 video bar

The UVC34 carries an 8 MP camera with 5x e-PTZ zoom and a 120° diagonal field of view. Auto Framing and camera presets keep participants in shot as people move, and AI Face Enhancement is part of the camera specification. Audio comes from an 8-microphone MEMS array with a 5 m voice pickup range, supported by Yealink Noise Proof Technology, full-duplex operation and echo cancellation. A 5 W speaker completes the unit.

Computing, displays and touch control

MCore Pro mini-PC with 11th Gen Intel Core i5, 8GB memory and 128GB SSD
Three HDMI outputs with CEC and a built-in EDID adapter for display handshake
Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on the mini-PC, plus four USB 3.0 ports
MTouch E2: 8-inch IPS touchscreen at 1280 x 800 with 10-point capacitive touch
Angle-adjustable bracket from 28° to 50°, human motion sensor and 3.5 mm headset jack

The mini-PC supports three display screens, so a room can show the meeting and shared content on more than one panel. CEC and EDID handle automated display control and signal adaptation. The MTouch E2 accepts HDMI or USB-C video input, supports wired and wireless content sharing at 1080P/30FPS, and includes a built-in Wi-Fi access point for Yealink wireless presentation devices.

Where it fits in Qatar

A law practice in West Bay equipping a small client room where lawyers join calls with colleagues abroad.
A training centre in Education City fitting out small breakout rooms for hybrid workshops.
A property developer's sales office in Lusail with a compact room for remote reviews with head office.

What to plan before ordering

Plan each room before you order: note whether it needs one display or three, where the windows face, and how the controller will be mounted. The source data does not list an operating temperature range for this bundle, so confirm the environment with the SmartRooms Qatar team before installation, particularly where summer heat from windows could affect equipment placement. Ask your IT team to confirm the Microsoft Teams Rooms requirements too. Under Yealink's end-of-sale policy, the MVC340 receives full support in the first year after end of sale, attempted bug fixes in years two to five, and no support from the sixth year, with spares depending on local distributors.

Request a quote for the MVC340 or its replacement

Send us your room size, display count and whether you need a like-for-like unit or an upgrade. Request a quote and SmartRooms Qatar will recommend a current equivalent or the MVC S40 replacement, with the final details confirmed in your quotation.

Questions about MVC340

Is the Yealink MVC340 still available to order?

No. Yealink has discontinued the MVC340, with an end-of-sale date of 2025-12-31, and no new orders are accepted for it. SmartRooms Qatar can still quote for a current replacement. Yealink recommends the MVC S40, which it describes as designed for small meeting rooms and part of its 4th-gen MVC Series. Send us your room details and our team will confirm the best option in your quotation.

Is the MVC340 suitable for a small meeting room in a Doha office?

Yes, the MVC340 is built for focus rooms and small meeting rooms. A typical use is a room where a team of a few people joins Microsoft Teams calls with colleagues in other cities or abroad. The UVC34 video bar uses Auto Framing across a 120° diagonal field of view, so participants stay in shot without manual adjustment. For larger boardrooms, ask us for a quote on a bigger system instead.

What does the UVC34 video bar include?

The UVC34 includes an 8 MP camera with 5x e-PTZ zoom, a 120° diagonal field of view, Auto Framing, AI Face Enhancement and camera presets. Its audio uses an 8-microphone MEMS array with a 5 m voice pickup range, Yealink Noise Proof Technology, full-duplex operation and echo cancellation. A 5 W speaker is built in. Together these features cover a small room without a separate camera or microphone.

How many displays can the MCore Pro mini-PC drive?

The MCore Pro mini-PC supports three display screens and has three HDMI video outputs with CEC support. It also includes a built-in EDID adapter, which helps the system adapt its signal to the connected displays. This is useful in a room where you want the meeting content on one panel and shared material on another. Confirm your display layout with us before ordering so the quotation matches your room.

Does the bundle need a separate computer?

No. The MVC340 bundle includes the MCore Pro mini-PC, which has an 11th Gen Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of memory and a 128GB SSD. It runs the Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows system that the bundle is built around. Because the computer is part of the package, IT teams in Qatar do not need to source a separate PC for the room, though they should still review the Teams Rooms requirements.

Can I use a wireless connection to share content in the room?

Yes. The MTouch E2 control tablet supports wired and wireless content sharing at 1080P/30FPS and includes a built-in Wi-Fi access point for Yealink wireless presentation devices. It also accepts HDMI or USB-C video input for a laptop connection. The mini-PC adds Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Presenters in a training room can therefore choose between cable and wireless sharing depending on their device.

Will the MVC340 work in a training room at Education City?

It suits a small training room or breakout space rather than a large lecture hall. A training centre in Education City could use it for hybrid workshops where a facilitator in the room and participants online need clear audio and framing. The 5 m voice pickup range and 8-microphone array suit a compact space. For bigger classes, ask for a quote on a larger room system from SmartRooms Qatar.

Is the MVC340 suitable for a room with a window facing the sun?

The source data does not list an operating temperature range for this bundle, so we cannot confirm how it performs in direct heat. Summer temperatures in Qatar can exceed 45°C, and glare or heat from a window can affect where the camera and controller are placed. Before installation, confirm the room environment with the SmartRooms Qatar team and plan the camera position around the window.

How is the bundle connected and mounted?

The MTouch E2 has an angle-adjustable bracket from 28° to 50°, and the mini-PC connects to it through an RJ45 MTouch port. The manufacturer describes a single CAT5e cable that carries both data and power for the setup. Plan cable routes and the controller position before ordering. SmartRooms Qatar offers a free site survey to check the room before wall or table mounting.

What support is available after the end-of-sale date?

Yealink's end-of-sale policy gives the MVC340 full support, including hardware and software technical support and security fixes, for the first year after end of sale. In years two to five, Yealink will attempt software bug fixes but will not add new features. From the sixth year, Yealink does not offer support. Hardware spares depend on local distributors, so buyers should plan replacements early.

Can a government office or school buy the MVC340 replacement through an LPO?

Yes. SmartRooms Qatar accepts purchase orders (LPOs) and government tenders, including Monaqasat, and payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order. A ministry or school that needs a room system will receive a quotation for the replacement model, such as the MVC S40, to match its purchase order. Send your LPO requirements with your room details to start the quote.
