What the Yealink MVC400 bundle contains

The Yealink MVC400 is a Microsoft Teams Rooms kit for huddle and small meeting rooms. It combines three components in one package: the UVC40 all-in-one video bar, an MCore Pro mini-PC and an MTouch E2 touch panel. Buyers who would otherwise source a camera, microphone array, computer and controller separately receive a matched set, with a Windows 10 IoT Enterprise licence and the Microsoft Teams Rooms app already loaded.

Discontinued model. The manufacturer has discontinued the MVC400, with an end-of-sale date of 31 August 2024. Existing owners should review the end-of-life support window described in the FAQs. Camera, microphones and touch control for small rooms

The UVC40 uses a 20 MP camera with 8x e-PTZ and a 133° diagonal field of view. Auto Framing detects the people in view and sets the frame, while Speaker Tracking follows whoever is speaking. This helps when participants sit at different distances from the lens, which is common around a small table.

Audio comes from an array of 8 MEMS microphones with a stated 7 m voice pickup range, full-duplex operation and echo cancellation. Yealink Noise Proof Technology is included to reduce background interference during calls.

The MTouch E2 panel has an 8-inch IPS screen at 1280 x 800 resolution with 10-point capacitive touch. Its bracket adjusts from 28° to 50°, a human motion sensor can wake the system when someone enters, and a 3.5 mm headset jack is fitted. It accepts HDMI or USB-C input and supports 1080P/30FPS sharing by wired or wireless means.

• Cabling: Yealink's MCore cable management combines data and power into a single CAT5e cable, reducing the number of runs in a small room.
• Wall space: The UVC40 measures 600 mm x 68 mm x 82 mm and needs a level position above or below the display. The MCore measures 168 mm x 197 mm x 39 mm, and the MTouch E2 measures 202 mm x 151 mm x 100 mm.
• Display link: The MCore provides HDMI video output with CEC support, and a built-in EDID adapter helps the signal match the connected screen.
• Security and management: The MCore and UVC40 both have security lock slots, and the system supports Yealink Device Management Platform and Cloud Service for remote monitoring and updates.
• Environment: The manufacturer data does not list an operating temperature range, so confirm room conditions with the SmartRooms Qatar team before installing near windows or in an unconditioned space.
