Overview

The Yealink MVC840 is a Microsoft Teams Rooms video conferencing bundle for medium and large meeting rooms, built around a 4K UVC84 camera with 12x optical zoom, an MTouch II touch panel and an MCore Pro mini-PC. What the MVC840 bundle contains

The Yealink MVC840 is a bundle built for medium and large meeting rooms that runs the Microsoft Teams Rooms interface. Its core is an MCore Pro mini-PC running Windows 10 IoT Enterprise with the Microsoft Teams Rooms app preloaded, which also supports Skype for Business on-premises and online meetings. Alongside it sit a UVC84 4K camera, an MTouch II touch panel and a VCM34 array microphone, so the room is controlled from one screen.

Camera, microphone and touch control

The UVC84 camera records 4K video with 12x optical zoom, an 80 degree diagonal field of view, a 200 degree pan range and a 130 degree tilt range. The VCM34 array microphone covers a 360 degree pickup range of 20 ft (6 metres), can be cascaded up to six units, and has a mute button with a bicolour LED.

The MTouch II panel is an 8-inch IPS screen at 1280 x 800 with 10-point capacitive touch. Its built-in Human Motion Sensor can wake the system, and its bracket adjusts from 28 to 50 degrees. From one panel, users handle call control, camera control and content sharing.
