Overview

The Yealink ZVC300 Zoom Rooms Kit combines a 4K USB camera, a CP960 conference phone with microphones, speaker and touch console, and an MCore mini-PC in one package for small meeting rooms. Yealink has discontinued this model, with end of sale on 30 June 2022. Organisations that already run it, or are comparing it with newer kits, should request a quote for a current Zoom Rooms replacement suited to their room in Qatar.

What the ZVC300 kit contains

The Yealink ZVC300 is a Zoom Rooms kit designed for huddle rooms and small meeting spaces. Instead of buying a camera, microphones, a meeting console and a computer separately, the package brings together a UVC30-Room 4K USB camera, a CP960 conference phone and an MCore mini-PC. The Zoom Rooms app and a Windows 10 IoT Enterprise licence come pre-loaded, so the software is in place from the start.

Camera and audio for a small table

The UVC30-Room captures 4K video at up to 30 frames per second across a 120-degree diagonal field of view. Auto-framing keeps people at the table in shot without manual adjustment, while camera presets and 3x digital zoom cover other needs. The CP960 uses a three-microphone array with 360-degree pickup out to a six-metre radius, and Yealink's noise-proofing technology helps keep background sound down so remote participants hear each speaker clearly.

Cabling and the meeting console

One-cable technology removes the traditional USB run from the display area to the conference table, which is often the most disruptive part of a small-room installation. The CP960's five-inch touch screen, at 720x1280, lets a host join the meeting, add participants, adjust volume and steer the camera from the table. The phone's RJ45 port supports Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af, class 4), so one network cable can power the unit.

Where the kit fits in Qatar

A team room in West Bay or Msheireb: four to six people who join Zoom calls with colleagues abroad several times a week.
A clinic or hospital administration room in Al Sadd: short calls with specialists and external partners in a compact room.
A training or seminar room near Education City: a small space for intimate sessions, where one camera covers the group.

Heat, layout and room planning

The listed operating temperature is 0 to 40°C, with operating humidity between 10 and 95 percent, and storage is rated from -30 to 70°C. Outdoor temperatures in Qatar can exceed 45°C in summer, so the room housing the kit must stay within the operating range through dependable air conditioning. Plan the camera position relative to seating, the cable route to the display and the mounting height before ordering. SmartRooms Qatar offers free site surveys, which helps with awkward room layouts.

Why this model is discontinued

Yealink ended sales of the ZVC300 Zoom Rooms Kit with an end-of-sale date of 30 June 2022, and new orders are no longer accepted. Under Yealink's end-of-life policy, the first year after end of sale includes product support and security fixes, years two to five receive software bug fixes where possible, and no new features are added after end of life. Hardware spares depend on local distributors and stock. If you already own this kit, ask us about its support position. If you need one, request a quote for a current Zoom Rooms kit or a compatible replacement.

Questions about ZVC300

Which rooms in Qatar suit the Yealink ZVC300?

The ZVC300 suits huddle rooms and small meeting rooms seating a handful of people around one table. In Doha, that could be a four to six seat room in a West Bay office, a team room in Msheireb or an administration room in a clinic in Al Sadd. The kit is sized for these spaces, not for lecture halls or large boardrooms.

Is the Yealink ZVC300 still available to order?

No. Yealink discontinued the ZVC300 Zoom Rooms Kit with an end-of-sale date of 30 June 2022, and new orders are no longer accepted. If you already own one, or are comparing it with newer models, SmartRooms Qatar can help you choose a current Zoom Rooms kit or a compatible replacement that matches your room size.

What is included in the ZVC300 kit?

The package includes a UVC30-Room 4K USB camera, a CP960 conference phone that combines microphones, speaker and a five-inch touch console, and an MCore mini-PC. It also contains a 3m USB 2.0 cable, a power port and a security lock slot. The software preload includes Windows 10 IoT Enterprise and the Zoom Rooms app.

What are the camera specifications of the UVC30-Room?

The UVC30-Room is a 4K USB camera with a 120-degree diagonal field of view, delivering video at up to 4K and 30 frames per second. Auto-framing keeps participants in shot without manual pan, tilt or zoom, camera presets are included, and 3x digital zoom is available. These features help when people move around the table during a discussion.

Will the CP960 pick up everyone in a Doha meeting room?

The CP960 has a built-in three-microphone array that provides 360-degree pickup up to a six-metre radius. Yealink noise-proofing technology is designed to reduce background noise, so remote colleagues can follow each speaker. Before ordering, compare your table length and seating positions with that six-metre coverage to confirm the fit for your room.

Can the ZVC300 handle Qatar's summer heat?

The listed operating temperature is 0 to 40°C, with operating humidity from 10 to 95 percent. Outdoor temperatures in Qatar can exceed 45°C in summer, so the room housing the kit must stay within the operating range through reliable air conditioning. Confirm the cooling and ventilation of your room with the SmartRooms Qatar team before installation.

How does the one-cable setup reduce installation work?

The CP960 combines microphones, speaker and console in one unit, and its one-cable technology removes the separate USB run from the display area to the conference table. Its RJ45 port also supports Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af, class 4), so one network cable can power the phone. Plan cable routes and mounting positions before you request a quote.

Do I need to install Zoom Rooms separately on this kit?

The Zoom Rooms app is pre-installed on the MCore mini-PC, and the software preload also lists Yealink RoomConnect. Because the kit is built around Zoom Rooms, confirm your Zoom account and licensing arrangements with your IT team before buying a replacement. SmartRooms Qatar can explain the setup requirements while preparing your quotation.

What support is available after the end of sale?

Yealink's end-of-life policy provides product support in the first year after end of sale, including technical support and security fixes. From the second to the fifth year, Yealink attempts software bug fixes where possible, and no new features are added after end of life. Hardware spares depend on local distributors and subject to stock availability.

How would the ZVC300 suit a six-person meeting room in West Bay?

A six-person room with one table and a wall display matches the kit's scale. The CP960 covers the table, the UVC30-Room frames the group automatically, and a single cable runs to the display. Teams that join calls with colleagues abroad can start meetings from the touch console. Measure seating distances before ordering, and ask for a free site survey if the room is unusual.

Is the kit suitable for a clinic meeting room or small training room in Doha?

It suits short calls in a small room, such as an administration meeting in an Al Sadd clinic with specialists elsewhere, because the five-inch console keeps controls at the table. Larger training rooms need a solution designed for more participants. Whatever the room, keep it within the listed 0 to 40°C operating range, which requires dependable air conditioning in Qatar's climate.

What should I include when requesting a replacement quote?

Send the room dimensions, seating count, display size and whether the one-cable layout matters to your design. We usually provide quotations within one working day, and a free site survey can be arranged before installation. We accept purchase orders and LPOs, supply and deliver to all eight municipalities of Qatar, and offer professional installation with payment by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order.
