The Dahua N70(04H16H) is a 3U video matrix platform built into a standard 19-inch rack. It takes network video streams from cameras and recorders, decodes them and sends the results to a set of HDMI displays, so operators can follow every source on one wall. The unit decodes H.265, H.264, SVAC, MPEG4 and MJPEG streams at resolutions from D1 up to 32 MP. Interoperability covers ONVIF, RTSP, and the Dahua and Hikvision private protocols. The manufacturer rates the platform at up to 400 decoding channels, but that figure applies to a specific configuration: for example 192 channels at 1080p@25 fps, with windows that do not cross screens, output at 1080p and stream bandwidth within network limits.
