Touchscreen T5 Education 65

What the OneScreen T5 Education 65 delivers

The T5 Education 65 is a 65-inch interactive display built for teaching and group work. Its panel is an original LG IPS LED with 4K UHD resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels, a 60 Hz refresh rate, 400 cd/m² brightness and a 178° viewing angle. The anti-glare glass is rated at 8 MOHS, and the panel supports 10-bit colour with a high colour gamut.

Touch, software and connections that matter in daily use

Touch uses 20-point infrared sensing that responds to fingers or the included stylus, with 2 mm accuracy and a response time under 8 ms. The built-in Android 6 system has 2GB RAM, 64GB storage and a quad-core A53 Cortex processor running at 1.5 GHz, giving access to Android apps and Google Play with multi-user login.

Inputs include three HDMI ports, VGA, DisplayPort, audio, microphone, YPBPR and AV. Five multimedia USB ports switch automatically between the Android system and an OPS PC during use. Dual-band Wi-Fi (5G and 2.4 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, two RJ-45 network ports and an RS232 port complete the connectivity, and a camera USB port is included.

Where the 65-inch format fits in Qatar

At 65 inches the display suits a mid-sized classroom or a department meeting room where students or staff sit within comfortable viewing distance. Three typical Qatar settings:

• Classroom refit: a private school in Al Rayyan replacing a projector and whiteboard set-up in a mid-sized classroom, where teachers annotate lessons directly on the screen.
• Training room: a training centre near Education City running bilingual staff sessions, with presenters sharing laptop content over HDMI or wireless streaming.
• Meeting room: a government office in Msheireb holding video calls with teams abroad, combining the camera USB input with touch annotation.

The source data does not state an operating temperature range for this model. Before ordering for a room near windows or an area without air-conditioning, where summer temperatures can exceed 45°C, confirm the environment with the SmartRooms Qatar team.

Planning installation and what to check before ordering

The display measures 59.2 × 36.3 × 3.9 inches and weighs 126 lbs, so plan for more than one person and proper lifting equipment. It includes a flush wall mount for VESA 400 × 400 fixings. Check the wall structure, clearance, and the position of power and data outlets. SmartRooms Qatar offers free site surveys, which are useful before wall-mounting a unit of this weight.

The power supply accepts AC 100-240 V at 50/60 Hz, a range that includes the 240 V, 50 Hz mains used in Qatar. The package includes a power cable, HDMI, VGA, touch USB and AUX cables, two styluses, an extendable wand and a remote control. Software licences also matter: OneScreen Hype and Swap carry one-year subscriptions with 50 licences each, so check activation dates for any unit already in use.

Next step for a discontinued model

Because the manufacturer has discontinued this model, most buyers in Qatar should look at a current equivalent or a compatible replacement. Request a quote from SmartRooms Qatar with your room size, wall type and software needs. The team will recommend a suitable option, and any delivery estimate is confirmed in the quotation.
