Touchscreen T6 Business 65

Built around a 65-inch 4K panel

The OneScreen Touchscreen T6 Business 65 is a 65-inch interactive display with a 3840 x 2160 resolution, a 60 Hz refresh rate and an LG panel. Its pixel pitch is 0.372 mm, brightness is rated at 400+ cd/m², and the viewing angle is at least 178 degrees horizontally and 176 degrees vertically, so people seated at the sides of a room can still read the content. The glass is 8 MOHS anti-glare, which helps in rooms with large windows or strong overhead lighting. Two 15W speakers with automatic volume control and an equalizer handle everyday presentations and calls in small rooms, although larger halls will still need a dedicated sound system.

Touch, software and connectivity in practice

Touch is infrared, with 20 touch points, 3 mm touch accuracy and a response time of 2.5 m/s or better. Palm detection and pen-and-touch differentiation let a presenter rest a hand on the glass while writing with a pen. Touch compatibility is listed for Windows 10, 8, 7 and XP, Linux, Mac, Android 8.0 and Chrome.

• Software: OneScreen Annotate for whiteboarding, OneScreen Write for saving annotations via QR code or email, EShare for multi-device sharing, and OneScreen Navigate for a customisable home screen.
• Video conferencing: OneScreen Hype is listed with screen sharing, recording and translation or transcription features.
• Ports: three HDMI 2.0 inputs, one DisplayPort, VGA, two touch USB ports, a 3.5 mm microphone input, RJ-45, a TF/SD card slot and a 3.5 mm headphone output.
• Connectivity: one RS232 port, one RJ-45 port, two front USB and three rear USB ports, and dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4G/5G) with a 5G hotspot.
• Android: Android 8.0 on a four-core Cortex A73 and A53 processor, with 3GB DDR4 memory, 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage, Google Play access and multi-user login.

An optional OPS PC slot can add an Intel Core i5 7th Gen or i7 9th Gen computer with 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD, running Linux or Windows 7, 8 or 10. Optional OneScreen cameras include a 1080p web camera with a built-in microphone and a 1080p PTZ camera with 12x optical zoom and a 72.5 degree wide-angle lens.

Where it fits across Qatar

A private school in Al Wakrah refitting a set of classrooms can use the panel for lessons where the teacher annotates over slides and students write answers on the screen. At 65 inches it suits a classroom or small seminar room better than a lecture hall.

A government office in Msheireb or a company in West Bay that runs weekly meetings with colleagues in Doha and abroad can use the video conferencing software listed for this model, with the optional PTZ camera framing the room for remote participants.

A hotel business centre or serviced apartment lobby in The Pearl, where guests can share content from their own devices through EShare. Because glass lobbies receive strong light, the environment should be checked before the panel is fixed.

Planning a 65-inch installation

• The panel weighs 88.2 lbs and ships in a 65.5 x 40.8 x 9.6 inch carton weighing 119 lbs, so plan lift access and crew numbers before delivery.
• The wall mount is VESA 500 x 400 and a flush wall mount is provided. Confirm the wall structure and fixings before installation day; SmartRooms Qatar offers free site surveys.
• Power input is AC 100-240V, 50/60 Hz, with a maximum draw of 200W and standby at 0.5W or less. The source lists a US power cable, so confirm an adapter for BS 1363 (Type G) sockets when you request the quotation.
• The manufacturer data supplied does not give an operating temperature range, so confirm the installation environment with the SmartRooms Qatar team before fixing the panel near windows or sun-exposed entrances.
• Included accessories: one HDMI cable, one USB touch cable, one remote control, two pens and one extendable pen.

Because the manufacturer has discontinued this model, check the warranty position when you quote. The source lists the advanced hardware replacement warranty as available at time of purchase only, and gives no warranty durations. For a current equivalent or compatible replacement, request a quote from SmartRooms Qatar, stating the room size, wall type, and whether you need the OPS PC or camera options. The team usually responds within one working day.
