Overview

The Biamp Desono C-IC6-GK-12PK White is a 12-pack grille kit in white, made for Desono C-IC6 specialty conferencing loudspeakers. It is an accessory rather than a complete loudspeaker, so it suits facilities teams replacing or matching grilles on existing C-IC6 units in Qatari meeting rooms. The manufacturer has discontinued this model, so request a quote for a compatible replacement.

What this white grille kit covers

The Biamp Desono C-IC6-GK-12PK White is a 12-pack grille kit in a white finish, made for Desono C-IC6 specialty conferencing loudspeakers. Its manufacturer item number is 920-00049-20000. It is a spare-part accessory rather than a loudspeaker, so it is ordered when a room already has C-IC6 units that need grilles or a matching set.

Choosing the right finish and quantity

The same kit is also listed in black and red under separate item numbers, so check the finish of your installed units before ordering. This page covers the white version only. The pack contains twelve units, and the source data does not state how many grilles each C-IC6 loudspeaker takes, so confirm the count against your installation list.

Where it fits in Qatar

Government offices in West Bay: a facilities team refitting a boardroom where a white finish must match the room.
Universities in Education City: a shared conferencing suite that needs matching spares kept on site for future repairs.
Schools in Al Wakrah: a school fitting out several meeting rooms that needs one order covering a full set.

Questions about Desono C-IC6-GK-12PK

Is the Biamp Desono C-IC6-GK-12PK White still available new?

The manufacturer has discontinued this model, so it may not be offered as new stock in every case. Request a quote and SmartRooms Qatar will confirm whether this kit or a compatible replacement can be supplied. Availability is confirmed with the quotation, and quotations usually arrive within one working day.

What is this product used for, and who is it for?

It is a grille kit of twelve white grilles for Desono C-IC6 specialty conferencing loudspeakers. It suits facilities teams in Doha government offices and corporate headquarters who maintain existing C-IC6 units and need replacement or matching grilles for their meeting rooms.

Is a 12-pack enough for a school in Al Wakrah with several meeting rooms?

The kit is sold as a 12-pack, and the source data does not state how many grilles each C-IC6 loudspeaker needs. Count the C-IC6 units in each meeting room and compare that total with twelve before ordering. A school fitting out several rooms can then send one purchase order covering the full set.

Which finish should I order: white, black or red?

This page covers the white version, item number 920-00049-20000. Black (920-00049-10000) and red (920-00049-40000) are separate items. Check the finish of your installed C-IC6 loudspeakers before ordering, so that the grilles match the units already in your boardroom or meeting room.

Does this kit fit loudspeakers other than the Desono C-IC6?

The source data describes the kit only for Desono C-IC6 specialty conferencing loudspeakers, so it should not be assumed to fit other loudspeaker models. Send the model number of your installed units to SmartRooms Qatar, and the team will confirm compatibility in the quotation before you place an order.

Can a government ministry order this kit through an LPO or tender?

Yes. SmartRooms Qatar accepts purchase orders (LPOs) and government tenders, including Monaqasat. A ministry in Doha can request a quote for the white grille kit, attach its LPO reference, and have delivery made to any of the 8 municipalities of Qatar. Payment is by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order.

How would a university in Education City use this kit?

A university refurbishing a shared conferencing suite in Education City might keep spare white grilles on site so that a damaged or worn grille can be matched quickly. Because the model is discontinued, it is sensible to order the spares once the quantity is confirmed, rather than wait for a future refit.

Is this kit suitable for a boardroom in a West Bay office tower?

It suits a West Bay boardroom only where the existing Desono C-IC6 loudspeakers are white and need grilles that match. Confirm the installed model and finish with SmartRooms Qatar first. Free site surveys are available if you want the team to check the loudspeakers in the room before ordering.

Is the kit covered by a warranty?

Products supplied by SmartRooms Qatar are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. The source data does not give the warranty duration or terms for this kit, so ask for the warranty details to be stated in your quotation before placing a purchase order.

Can the kit be used in hot or dusty areas of Qatar?

The source data for this kit does not list an operating temperature range or environmental rating. Summer temperatures in Qatar can exceed 45°C and dust storms are common, so confirm the planned location, such as an air-conditioned meeting room or an exposed area, with the SmartRooms Qatar team before ordering.
