What the Newline NT Series is

The Newline NT Series is a non-touch display sold in three sizes: 65-inch, 85-inch and 98-inch. The screen does not take finger or pen input. Instead, it is built to show presentations, lessons and video calls, with content controlled by a remote, a connected computer, or wireless casting from a phone or laptop. Newline has discontinued the NT range, so this page is written for organisations that already run these panels, buyers comparing them with newer models, and anyone who needs a replacement.

Connectivity, audio and built-in software

Each panel has four HDMI 2.0 inputs (4K at 60 Hz), four USB-A 3.0 ports, a USB-B 3.0 port, LAN in and out, RS232 for control, a 3.5 mm line out and SPDIF. A pluggable Wi-Fi module (7668U) and Bluetooth support cover wireless links. The built-in Android 8.0 system has 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, and supports wireless casting and cloud file access. Two 20 W speakers face downward. The OPS port takes an optional on-board computer, which lets a PC sit inside the display rather than on the desk.

Where it fits in Qatar

A 65-inch NT suits a meeting room in an office in Msheireb or a classroom in an Al Rayyan school where students sit within a few metres of the screen. The 85-inch size fits a lecture room or training room in Education City, where the presenter must be seen from the back row. The 98-inch model suits a boardroom or hotel conference room in West Bay or Lusail that runs hybrid meetings with teams abroad. The six-element microphone array, with a stated pickup distance of 8 m, echo cancellation, beamforming and noise reduction, helps remote participants hear speakers across the room, provided a camera is added separately.

What to plan before ordering

Confirm the room environment before the quotation is final. The source data does not give an operating temperature range, so a location with direct sun, glazing or dust exposure needs checking first.
