Touchscreen T6 Business 98

A 98-inch touch display for large rooms

The OneScreen Touchscreen T6 Business 98 is the largest size in its series, aimed at boardrooms, lecture halls and large training rooms where a standard screen cannot be read from the back. The manufacturer has discontinued this model. SmartRooms Qatar supports three groups of buyers: organisations that already run one, buyers comparing it with newer large-format displays, and anyone who needs a replacement. We can quote a current equivalent or a compatible replacement for your room.

Panel, touch and audio details that matter

The panel is an LG Original screen with 3840 x 2160 resolution, a 60 Hz refresh rate and brightness of 400 to 500 cd/m2. At this size, the 0.5622 mm pixel pitch keeps text and fine diagrams sharp when viewers sit several metres back. The viewing angle is rated at 178 degrees both horizontally and vertically, so people seated at the sides see the same picture. The anti-glare glass has an 8 MOHS surface hardness rating.

Touch uses 20 touch points, 3 mm touch accuracy and a response time of 2.5 m/s or faster. Palm detection and pen-and-touch differentiation let a presenter rest a hand on the glass while writing. Annotation works over any source, so you can mark up a slide, a web page or a live video feed. Two 15 W speakers with an equaliser, automatic volume control and surround sound handle the audio in a large room.

Connectivity, built-in Android and the optional OPS PC

The display provides three HDMI 2.0 inputs, DisplayPort, VGA with an audio input, a microphone input, two touch USB links, a TF/SD card slot and an RJ-45 port. Outputs include a headphone jack and an optional HDMI output. For control and integration there are RS232 and RJ-45 ports, and five USB ports in total. Wireless is dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) with a 5 GHz hotspot.

The built-in system runs Android 8.0 with 64GB eMMC storage and 3GB DDR4 memory, and includes access to the Google Play Store with multi-user login support. An optional OPS PC module with an Intel Core i5 7th Gen or i7 9th Gen processor, 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD can be added for Windows or Linux. Software named in the data includes OneScreen Annotate, Write, Navigate, EShare for screen sharing, Hype for video conferencing and Central for centralised control. The manufacturer lists Hype and Central as cloud-based services, so confirm their availability before you buy.

Where this discontinued model fits in Qatar

• Boardroom in Doha: a ministry or authority reviewing results across departments can show Arabic and English documents side by side, with video calls to colleagues abroad.
• Lecture hall in Education City: the panel can replace a projector and whiteboard, with lecturers annotating directly over slides and students at the back reading diagrams.
• Training centre in Msheireb or Lusail: group workshops where participants share content wirelessly from their own devices through EShare.

The source data does not list an operating temperature range. Keep the display in an air-conditioned room and away from direct sun. If the planned position is near a window, a lobby or an entrance, where summer heat above 45 degrees Celsius is a concern, ask the SmartRooms Qatar team to confirm the environment before ordering.

Planning a 98-inch installation

• Wall mounting uses a VESA 800 x 400 pattern, so confirm the wall structure and load before purchase.
• The panel weighs 296.5 lbs (about 134.5 kg) and measures 87.9 x 52.3 x 4.3 inches. Shipping weight is 399.6 lbs.
• Free site surveys let our team check access routes, wall fixings and power points before delivery.
• The source lists a US power cable. Confirm the plug adapter needed for Qatar's BS 1363 sockets.
• Included accessories: remote control, HDMI cable, USB touch cable, two pens and an extendable pen.
• Web and PTZ cameras are listed as optional and are not part of the included accessories.
• The source states the advanced hardware replacement warranty is available at time of purchase only, so ask about cover when you request a quote.
