The manufacturer has discontinued the Elo 3202L infrared model and replaced it with the 3203L. Organisations that already run this display can still look for the replacement cable kit (Elo part E060080) and the accessories listed for the IDS 02 Series. Display and touch performance
The panel offers a 31.5-inch diagonal active area of 698.4 mm by 392.9 mm in a 16:9 format, with 1920 x 1080 resolution at 60 Hz. Infrared touch supports 20 simultaneous touch points on a clear, sealed touchscreen, so several people can work on the same screen at once. Typical brightness is 500 nits for the LCD panel and 450 nits for the infrared layer, with a 3,000:1 contrast ratio and an 8 ms typical response time.
Viewing angles reach 178 degrees both horizontally and vertically, which keeps content readable from a queue, a waiting area or a side aisle. Those brightness figures suit indoor reception areas and corridors, but test the screen in the actual room before installation, especially where daylight falls on it.
Connectivity, audio and expansion
Inputs include two HDMI ports, one DisplayPort, one VGA, an audio line-in, a GPIO connector and a USB Type B port for touch. The unit also has a headphone output and an RJ45 connector for the optional wired on-screen display remote. Four 5 W stereo speakers are built in, which covers announcements in small lobbies and waiting rooms.
The IDS 02 Series accessory list includes an OPS adaptor kit (E337104) and several ECMG3 computer kits with Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processors, with or without an operating system. Fitting an OPS module changes the operating temperature limit, which is covered below.
