What the 75WR6BE is built to do

The Hisense 75WR6BE combines a 75-inch 4K panel, a 20-point infrared touch frame and an Android 8.0 system in one unit. It covers the roles of a display, a whiteboard and a video conferencing screen, which reduces the number of devices a room needs. Hisense lists this model as discontinued, so this page is written for organisations that already run it, buyers comparing it with newer models, and anyone who needs a replacement.

Display, touch and sound figures to check against your room

• Panel: 75-inch, 3840 x 2160 resolution, D-LED backlight and 370 cd/m² typical brightness.
• Image: 4000:1 contrast ratio, 85% colour gamut, 10-bit colour and a 178° viewing angle horizontally and vertically.
• Touch: up to 20 simultaneous touches, 8ms response, 2mm minimum touch object and 4mm anti-glare glass.
• Audio: two speakers rated 2 x 15W into 8 ohms.
• Rated lifetime: 50,000 hours.

Typical brightness of 370 cd/m² suits rooms with controlled daylight. A meeting room with a large window benefits from blinds or from a wall position away from direct sun. The anti-glare glass reduces reflections when the room is lit from above.

Ports, camera and what is in the box

The panel provides two HDMI inputs, one DisplayPort input, one Type-C port, one RS232 input, one LAN port and four USB ports, one of which is reserved for the camera. Outputs include HDMI, S/PDIF and audio. An optional OPS slot is available for a computing module. The 4K plug-in camera has a 120° wide angle and is sold separately, so it must be listed as a separate item in your quotation request. Each unit ships with a user manual, two stylus pens, a remote control, a wireless cast unit, a power cable, two batteries, four hanging wheels and a wall-mount bracket.

Where it fits in Qatar

• Classrooms in Al Wakrah or Education City: a mid-sized classroom where teachers annotate lessons on screen and students work at the board with the stylus pens and touch.
• Meeting rooms in West Bay or Msheireb: a team in Doha holds calls with colleagues abroad using the 4K camera and shares documents on the 75-inch panel.
• Training rooms and offices in Lusail: bilingual Arabic and English sessions where presenters annotate and handle content from several sources.

What to plan before ordering

The panel measures 1718 x 1040 x 102 mm and weighs 47.5 kg net, or 61 kg packed. Its VESA pattern is 600 x 400 mm with four M8 screws, and a wall-mount bracket is included. Plan for at least two people during handling and mounting, and arrange a free site survey to check the wall structure and the positions of power and data outlets before installation.

The power input is rated 100 V to 240 V, 50/60 Hz, which covers Qatar's 240 V supply. Power consumption is listed at 350 W without an OPS module, so confirm the total load with the SmartRooms Qatar team if you add one. The source data does not give an operating temperature range, so ask the team to confirm the placement before installing the unit near glazed lobbies or outdoor-facing walls, where summer heat is strong. Listed certifications include CB, CE, ERP, cTUVus, CEC, FCC and ICASA.
