Overview

The InFocus SimpleShare INA-SIMTTM1 is a wireless presentation model from the Simpleshare series. InFocus has discontinued this model, so this page serves organisations that already own one, buyers comparing options, and anyone looking for a replacement. SmartRooms Qatar can quote a current or compatible replacement for meeting rooms and classrooms across Qatar.

What the InFocus SimpleShare INA-SIMTTM1 is

The InFocus SimpleShare INA-SIMTTM1 belongs to the Simpleshare series and sits in the wireless presentation subcategory. Devices in this group let people share content from their own devices with a room display without running a cable to every presenter. The manufacturer's support listing for this model code includes its user guide, which is the document to check for connection steps before you rely on the unit in a room.

Why the discontinued status changes your buying decision

InFocus has discontinued the INA-SIMTTM1, so it is no longer in the manufacturer's current range. Because of this, the practical route for most buyers is a current or compatible replacement, quoted by SmartRooms Qatar after we review the room layout and the display already installed. Organisations that own a unit should record the model code in their asset register and keep the user guide with the equipment file.

Where a wireless presentation model fits in Qatar

Wireless presentation is most useful where people arrive with their own laptops and need to start presenting quickly. Realistic settings in Qatar include:

A government authority meeting room in West Bay where officers present in Arabic and English and visitors connect their own devices without swapping cables.
A private school staff room in Al Wakrah where teachers share lesson material during planning sessions.
A hotel conference room in Lusail where event staff need a fast connection between sessions.

What to confirm before you choose a replacement

The model code printed on the unit, INA-SIMTTM1, and the room display it connects to.
The laptops, phones and operating systems your staff use, so the replacement suits how they already work.
The room environment. The source data gives no operating temperature range for this model, so confirm conditions with the SmartRooms Qatar team, especially for spaces that are not air-conditioned.
How many people present in the same room, so the replacement matches your meeting pattern.

Questions about SimpleShare INA-SIMTTM1

Is InFocus still selling the SimpleShare INA-SIMTTM1?

No. InFocus has discontinued this model, so it is no longer in the manufacturer's current range. SmartRooms Qatar can quote a current or compatible replacement for a meeting room, classroom or boardroom, and our team will check its compatibility with the display you already have before you issue a purchase order. Quotations are usually returned within one working day.

What is the InFocus SimpleShare INA-SIMTTM1 used for?

It is a wireless presentation model from the Simpleshare series, designed to share content from a presenter's device during a meeting or lesson. It suits rooms where people arrive with different laptops and need to present quickly without swapping cables. For the exact functions and connection steps, check the user guide that InFocus published for this model code.

I already own this model. Should I replace it now?

Not necessarily. If the unit still works reliably for your staff, keep it in service and record the model code INA-SIMTTM1 in your asset register. Plan a replacement when the unit fails, when the room is extended, or when your staff's devices change. A replacement quotation lets you budget in advance, and we can confirm compatibility with your current display first.

Is a spec sheet available for the INA-SIMTTM1 in Qatar?

The manufacturer's support listing provides the user guide for this model code, which is the best reference for setup steps and technical details. The public listing does not give us a full specification sheet to quote from, so we work from the model code and category. Send us a photo of the unit label and the model of your room display, and we will confirm what can be replaced or matched.

What operating temperature can the INA-SIMTTM1 handle?

The source data for this model does not state an operating temperature range, so we cannot give a figure. Temperatures in Qatar can exceed 45°C in summer, so do not place the unit in an area that is not air-conditioned until the conditions are confirmed. Tell the SmartRooms Qatar team where the device will sit, whether a meeting room, lobby or classroom, and we will recommend a suitable replacement.

Which Qatar rooms suit a wireless presentation model?

Rooms where visitors and internal staff present from their own laptops suit this type of device best. Examples include a ministry boardroom in West Bay, a training room at a university in Education City, or a meeting room in a residential development in The Pearl. Choose a replacement based on how many people present in the same room and how often presenters change during a session.

A school in Al Wakrah wants to replace the unit in several classrooms. Is that possible?

Yes. Multiple rooms can be quoted together, and a school or government body can order through a purchase order or a government tender. Compatibility should be checked room by room, because each classroom display and teacher laptop may differ. We offer a free site survey to map the displays before we quote, so each classroom receives the replacement that fits its layout.

Does the device need a display to work with?

Yes. A wireless presentation device sends content to a screen or projector, so the room needs a display to show it. Confirm which display the room uses before ordering a replacement, because the connection options on the device and the screen must be checked together. The InFocus user guide for this model code describes the setup steps, and our team can verify compatibility during the free site survey.

What should I plan before installing a replacement in a boardroom?

Plan the display position, the cable route and the power outlet before ordering. Qatar mains power is 240 V, 50 Hz with BS 1363 (Type G) sockets, so confirm socket positions for any unit that needs power. A free site survey helps you check wall space and sightlines. Professional installation is available across all 8 municipalities of Qatar, and we confirm the schedule with your quotation.

How long does a quotation take?

SmartRooms Qatar usually issues quotations within one working day. The working week in Qatar runs Sunday to Thursday, so sending your request early in the week helps. Delivery and installation timing depends on availability, and the estimated dates are confirmed in the quotation. When requesting a replacement for a discontinued model, include the code INA-SIMTTM1 so we can match a current or compatible option quickly.

Who supports the INA-SIMTTM1 now that it is discontinued?

The manufacturer's support listing still provides the user guide for this model code, and that is the first reference for setup questions. SmartRooms Qatar supplies, delivers and installs replacement equipment, and products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. For a unit you already own, send us the model code and the problem you notice, and our team will advise whether a replacement or a compatible match is the practical route.

Can SmartRooms Qatar supply a government tender for this kind of replacement?

Yes. SmartRooms Qatar accepts government tenders, including those published on Monaqasat, as well as purchase orders (LPOs). Include the tender reference, the room list and the model code INA-SIMTTM1 with your request, and the quotation will identify a current or compatible replacement for each room. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order.
