Overview
The NEC MultiPresenter Application is wireless presentation software in NEC's video conferencing range, and the manufacturer has discontinued it. Our team checks compatibility against your existing PCs and room setup before recommending anything.
What the NEC MultiPresenter Application is

- Software product rather than a display, camera or projector
- Category: Video Conferencing, subcategory: wireless presentation
- Manufacturer support code: MULTIPRESENTERAPP

Who should review this page in Qatar
An IT manager at a government office in Doha who finds this software on a meeting room PC during an audit may need to decide whether it stays in service or moves to a supported option. A university in Education City that runs wireless presentation across several lecture rooms and wants to standardise on a current product is another case. Companies in Lusail and West Bay comparing their present setup with newer options can use this page as a starting point.
Planning a replacement
Send us a list of the rooms and PCs that use the software, the operating systems in place and how your network is arranged. SmartRooms Qatar will identify a current equivalent or compatible replacement and send a quotation, usually within one working day. For tenders or LPOs covering several sites, we can prepare one quotation for all locations. Request a quote today and the SmartRooms Qatar team will confirm the most suitable option for your rooms.

What is the NEC MultiPresenter Application?
It is wireless presentation software in NEC's video conferencing category. The manufacturer has discontinued it, so SmartRooms Qatar lists it for existing owners and for buyers comparing options. Our record holds its identity and support code, MULTIPRESENTERAPP, but the manufacturer data we hold includes no detailed specification, so we do not state features beyond what is confirmed.
Has NEC discontinued this model?
Yes. NEC has discontinued the MultiPresenter Application, so it is no longer available as a current product. If your organisation in Qatar still uses it, this page is written for you. Request a quote and we will advise whether a current equivalent or a compatible replacement suits the rooms where it runs.
Can I still buy the MultiPresenter Application new?
Because the model is discontinued, we cannot offer it as a current product. Instead, SmartRooms Qatar can quote a current equivalent or a compatible replacement for your meeting rooms, based on your existing display, PC and network setup. Quotations usually arrive within one working day of your request.
Which system requirements does it need?
The manufacturer data we hold does not list operating systems, processor needs or memory requirements for this model, so we do not state them here. Before planning a replacement, send us the PC models and operating systems your rooms use, and our team will check compatibility before preparing a quotation.
We found it installed on a ministry PC during an IT audit. What should we do?
Start by listing every room and device where the software runs, then decide whether it stays in service or moves to a supported option. Because the model is discontinued, confirm with the SmartRooms Qatar team which current options fit your setup. We will review the list and send a quotation for the replacement you choose.
Which organisations in Qatar might still use wireless presentation software like this?
Universities and training centres in Education City, companies in Lusail and West Bay, and government offices in Doha often run shared meeting rooms where staff present from laptops. If your rooms run this model, a single quotation can cover a current replacement for each room, which keeps the rollout consistent across sites.
Could it suit a school in Al Wakrah?
A private school in Al Wakrah fitting out shared staff rooms, where teachers present from their own laptops to one screen, could benefit from a wireless presentation option. Because this model is discontinued, the school should request a quote for a current equivalent so that the chosen software matches the staff devices and the room display.
Does discontinued status change how we plan the meeting room?
This is software rather than a display, so the main planning decisions concern the PCs, the wireless presentation setup and the network in the room. The screen itself can be reviewed separately. Our team can help you compare the current room layout with a replacement before you decide what to change.
Do you deliver replacements across Qatar?
Yes. SmartRooms Qatar supplies and delivers any replacement we quote to all 8 municipalities of Qatar, including Doha, Al Khor, Mesaieed and Al Wakrah. Tell us the sites in your request so the quotation covers delivery to each location.
Can a government tender or LPO be used to buy a replacement?
Yes. SmartRooms Qatar accepts purchase orders (LPOs), government tenders including Monaqasat, and payment by bank transfer, cheque or purchase order. Send the tender reference with your quote request so the quotation matches your specification and the procurement requirements.
Do we need a site survey before replacing it?
SmartRooms Qatar offers free site surveys. A survey is useful when a replacement affects several rooms in an office or campus, because it confirms which PCs, networks and room devices are involved before we quote. Request a quote and our team will advise whether a survey is needed for your sites.
